The Bioanalytical Laboratory offers analytical services in support of compound development for clinical research. The laboratory is experienced in the areas of analytical method development, transfer, and validation for a variety of small molecule oncology agents. The major services and resources of the Bioanalytical Laboratory include:
- Multiple HLPC-UV and HPLC-FL instruments
- LC-MS/MS capabilities
- Analytical method transfer and validation in accordance with federal regulatory guidelines
- Bioavailability, drug-drug interaction, and pharmacokinetic studies in collaboration with the Phase I Physician Group
- Bioavailability, biodistribution, tumor uptake, drug-drug interaction, and pharmacokinetic studies in collaboration with START Laboratory’s Preclinical Research group.
- Analysis of samples from a variety of biological matrices (plasma, serum, urine, etc.)
- Quantitative metabolite concentration vs. time profiling
- Non-compartmental and compartmental pharmacokinetic modeling using WinNonlin and other modeling software
